“Rue des Bouchers” is a very nice, picturesque street close to the Grand’Place. The narrow cobbled street is packed with restaurants that compete for the tourist trade with hard-sell waiters and displays piled high with all manner of marine delicacies.

Nepal: Kagbeni Donkey Train

A donkey train meanders along the dried up Gandakhi River, between the villages of Jomsom and Kagbeni. Here the winds come howling in after midday. Best to get your trekking done first thing in morning.
